Pages of Possibilities

The library is open and ready for your families exploration. If you think all there is to do at the library is to find a book or study, we have very good news for you!

Family Ideas at the Library:

  • Find It: Talk with your local librarian and allow them to show you how books are cataloged and how to find the book you are looking for.
  • Go On a Hunt: Identify something that happened in history and go on a hunt for any information you can find at the library about that event. To have even more fun, choose a historic event that allows the family to use their research skills to crack a case and solve a mystery.
  • Search: Before your visit to see if your local library has story time, an interesting class or any other fun activities for the family.
  • Oh and we almost forgot, if you and family don’t have your library card, be sure to get them so you can enjoy many more trips together!

Bonus Tip: If you and family don’t have your library card, be sure to get them so you can enjoy many more trips together! Many libraries also offer digital items you can checkout (think movies and e-books, etc.) even when you can’t make it to the library!
